Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-01-31
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Quick Todo List website and application (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1) The Service
Quick Todo List is a browser-based to-do list tool designed to let you create and manage tasks quickly without creating an account. The Service may include features such as priorities, drag & drop ordering, grouping, and import/export tools.
2) No Account, Local Storage, and Data Responsibility
The Service does not require registration. By default, your tasks may be stored locally on your device (e.g., in your browser’s local storage). We do not guarantee that your data will always be available, and it may be lost due to browser, device, or user actions (for example: clearing site data, uninstalling the browser, using private mode, or changing devices).
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your tasks. If the Service provides export/import features, you agree to use them as needed to preserve your data.
3) Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you will not:
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
- Attempt to access the Service using automated means in a way that harms performance or availability.
- Use the Service for unlawful activity, or to distribute malicious code.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code beyond what is permitted by law.
4) Intellectual Property
The Service (including its design, branding, and code) is owned by Quick Todo List or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.
5) Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
6) Ads and Analytics
The Service may display advertisements or use analytics tools to understand usage and improve the product. For details about data collection and privacy practices, please read our Privacy Policy.
7) Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
8) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quick Todo List shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
In any event, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
9) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quick Todo List from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
10) Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
11) Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required to do so for legal or security reasons.
12) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If required, disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
